As you know, everyone is different. Here, I will write a few things that work for me. Please send me anything you would like me to add as a tip here

1 - Breathe

Stop what you're doing and take a deep breath. The best thing about this is you can do it anywhere without it disrupting your day. If you feel like everything is going wrong at work for example, you can easily take a deep breath and try and calm your nerves.

2 - Take some time out

This isn't always possible, obviously you'd prefer not to walk out of a meeting or a classroom. The main thing to remember, is to make some time for yourself. Don't be afraid to reach out to those closest to you if you need some support to take some time out, perhaps you have children to look after. You will be surprised by the help your family and friends will offer when you begin to open up about needing some time for yourself. Give it a go!

3 - Talk

The most effective way I have helped myself accept, work on and learn about my anxiety is to communicate with others. The easier you find your anxiety to talk about, the less alone you will feel. I promise. If you've not communicated about your anxiety to anyone - why not start with signing up to hear someone (me!) be open and honest about these feelings, perhaps it will make you want to join in with my approach.
